  • Supervising: Supervising and instructing others in the field with lower levels of certification 
  • Consulting: Providing consultation services and maintaining ongoing communication with all constituents 
  • Assessing clients: Observing clients and assessing their behavior challenges 
  • Developing plans: Creating plans to help clients overcome challenges, such as autism, ritualistic behavior, or cognitive impairment 
  • Setting goals: Setting realistic goals and objectives for clients 
  • Providing support: Providing support and professional learning for staff and family members
